Atrion Regulatory Authoring Services
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the average time it takes for Atrion to produce a new MSDS?
The Stardard turnaround time is five business days,
however our team is quick to respond to requests where deadlines are an
issue.
How much can I expect to pay for outsourcing my MSDSs?
The cost of MSDS compliant documentation can be low
as $250/country/language. Additionally due to our ability to
combine products and multiple countries on a single MSDS, as well
as create Master/Derivative documents, the overall cost will be
reduced.
How will my corporate information be secured?
Your corporate information is secure with Atrion because
we always sign necessary non-disclosure agreements to which all our
team commits to.
I am looking to ship my products to countries outside
of North America, are you able to advise me on what steps I need to
take for my compliance documentation?
Yes, our experts deal with global legislations on a
continuous basis and can offer advise and highlight issues that you
will face in creating compliant MSDSs.
Can I just have my current MSDSs translated into some other languages?
It is not advisable to simply have MSDS documents
‘translated’. Such a practice could lead to non-compliant
documentation since not only the language will differ in other
countries but also the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is being
used. For example, you cannot simply take a U.S. compliant MSDS and
translate it to French and have a compliant document for France, or
even Canada. That is why it is extremely important to author each MSDS
for a specific jurisdiction with the required language(s).
What kind of experience do your authors have?
Our authors have years of experience in the preparation
of documents for customers in all areas of Chemical production. This
experience coupled with backgrounds in both chemistry and regulations
ensure that our expert authors are qualified to help you in your MSDS
development.
What standards do you use for your MSDSs, labels and Tremcards?
All our MSDSs follow the standards according to each
government jurisdiction. For example: ANSI Z400.1 in North
America, Directive 91/155/CEE for the European Union and now the
recently promulgated REACH requirements.
