Regulatory Services Consultant

Job Purpose
The position requires the development and implementation of Atrion Regulatory Services solutions. The Regulatory Services Consultant can be responsible for approximately 1-3 large projects at any one time. This resource should be the main contact for the client’s project manager to help mitigate risks; provide/maintain issues lists, and create a positive team environment at the client site.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of a Regulatory Services project, including planning and task analysis, necessary resources, tracking progress, completing, and conducting a post mortem
- Ultimately responsible for the updated business process, including the implementation and use of Atrion Regulatory Services solution, at the customer site
- Responsible for the timeliness and quality of the implementation of the solution, including all deliverables to the customer
- Provide regulatory expertise on the processes and procedures required to run the project and to increase the knowledge and productivity of the project team
- Responsible for producing/maintaining reports, distributing information and progress reports to upper-level management on current and future projects
- Ensure client manager and key team members are apprised of all relevant aspects of the project progress
- Maintain the project budget and ensures that the project remains inside the budget guidelines
- Manage project related and/or functional group team meetings
- Lead cross-functional group projects for developing and improving policies, processes and products
- Provides training to clients as needed
- Create services agreements and Statements of Work for all client engagements, when necessary
Education
University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Sciences. Masters preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of REACH preferred
- Knowledge of SDS, MSDS preferred
- Knowledge of Product Stewardship preferred
- Fluent knowledge of English, both oral and written and able to communicate in other languages such as Dutch, German or French are strong asset.
- Strong Regulatory technical analytical and trouble shooting skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of the Atrion Product Suite is considered an asset

Experience
- 5 years or more of consulting experience preferably in Chemical, Energy or Resources
- 3 - 5 years experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S)
Working Conditions
Requires at least 25% travel to client locations nationally and internationally as needed.
