Job Purpose

The position is within our R&D group and is part of Atrion’s growing Compliance Suite for EH&S software solution development team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Application design, coding and unit testing of our application within SAP-EHS
• Develop Configurations required to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Design and implement WWI reports and interfaces
• Document SAP configuration(s)
• Management of ABAP programmer.
• Support R&D, QA and Customer service departments by resolving system coding or configuration during development, implementation and customer issues.
• Provide post development support.
• Collaborate with project team members in solving technical problems.
• Communicate clearly issues, options for addressing the issues and provide verbal and written project status reports to Project manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of SAP EH&S
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Knowledge of SAP interfaces and WWI
• Good communication/interpersonal skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
• Ability to drive simplicity in solutions
• ABAP knowledge desirable

Required Education

Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.

Experience

• 2+ years as an SAP EH&S developer
• Experience with SAP version 4.6 or higher and EHS module 2.7B and higher
