Atrion International’s new version 3.2 Intelligent Authoring® application maximizes ESH&T materials compliance at global level

Montreal, Canada, June, 25, 2003 – Atrion International Inc. (www.atrionintl.com) announces the release of version 3.2 of its Intelligent Authoring® (IA) application, a unique component of its global materials compliance platform for enterprise-wide EHS&T management and optimization. This new version offers enhanced language capabilities for authoring and distribution of regulatory documents worldwide. More than 150 languages are supported? a significant competitive advantage for organizations faced with changing regulatory requirements imposed in the global marketplace.

“With version 3.2, we focus on the analysis of compliance issues for countries around the world – a capability that we currently don’t see with other applications on the market,” said Patrick J. Lavoie, President and CEO of Atrion International. “For example, IA’s Compliance Engine enables users to query for country-specific compliance in North America, Europe, and other countries such as Turkey, the Czech Republic, Malaysia or China,” said Lavoie.

IA version 3.2 includes native XML support with respective style sheets? a new capability that was developed in direct response to the growing number of government organizations requiring regulated documents in this format.

Organizations can also consult Atrion’s regulatory experts to review the regulatory information they have on hand, and to assist them in achieving full compliance for specific countries.
