Atrion names Patrick Eisma as General Manager for
European Headquarters in The Netherlands
Montreal, Canada – May 24, 2005 – Atrion International, the global leader in
materials compliance solutions, today announced the appointment of Mr. Patrick Eisma
as General Manager for European Headquarters in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Mr.
Eisma will be responsible for European sales among other strategic business
developments as Atrion continues to expand historical business and grow in emerging
markets and regions.
“Patrick brings a broad knowledge set and has excelled in positions within the Process
Industry.“ said Patrick J. Lavoie, President and CEO of Atrion International. “I expect
Patrick’s leadership and expertise to increase the momentum of our sales efforts in the
competitive global marketplace.”
Mr. Eisma will add a high level of industry knowledge from past experiences in several
different capacities including R&D, Finance, Operations and Sales acquired from General
Electric and Maetis Health & Safety in the Netherlands. “A key benefit to our business is
Patrick’s in depth knowledge of the Six Sigma process.” added Mr. Lavoie. Mr. Eisma
has a degree in mechanical engineering, majoring in industrial development. His solid
background in Executive Sales combined with his experience working at several
businesses in the Process Industry make Mr. Eisma particularly well suited for the
position.
