Flint Group Signs Multi-Year Agreement with Atrion for the Materials Compliance Suite

Montreal, Quebec–June 4, 2007 — Atrion International—the leading provider of solutions enabling compliance of regulated and hazardous materials—today announced the signing of a multi-year contract with Flint Group to implement a materials compliance solution enabling Flint Group to safely and cost-effectively manage its global hazard communication process.  Flint Group is a global developer, producer and marketer of conventional and UV printing inks and other pressroom consumables.  Flint Group is a key addition to Atrion’s existing client base in the Inks & Pigments and Paints & Coatings industry verticals, which includes major players like Sun Chemical, INX International, Akzo Nobel, PPG, Jotun, Hempel and others.

With Atrion’s solution, Flint will meet the requirements of the prevailing national regulations and significantly reduce costs of global compliance. Creation of (M)SDS for raw materials and products, labels, transport documentation, as well as the internal and external distribution of documents will be greatly simplified. Atrion’s Materials Compliance Suite offers software applications, up-to-date regulatory content, access to regulatory portals and includes post-sales implementation and service support.
