Montreal, Canada, December 7, 2007 — Atrion International announces the availability of an integrated (M)SDS archiving and management solution using a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, through its partnership with Actio Corporation. To maintain a technological cutting edge, Atrion is investing great efforts in the adoption of SaaS as a method of delivery for its industry-leading regulatory compliance solutions.

SaaS has a number of benefits that are recognized as bringing great value to Atrion’s client base and the industry. The MSDS Vault is part of the Atrion Chemical Management Solution (CMS), available since March 2007. This approach allows Atrion to offer the best of both world, with the authoring tool remaining on a corporate site where complex formulation information is stored, while publicly available MSDS’ can be sent to Vault for convenient access 24/7 from anywhere in the world.
