Who should attend?
Users of the Intelligent Authoring software.
Do I need to have the latest version of IA to participate in the training?
No, this training is applicable to users of all versions of IA.
Although the training focuses on the latest version of IA (IA 4.0.5)
best practices and “helpful hints” are applicable for
versions 3.4, 3.5 and 4.0.
Is this a hands-on training?
Yes, included in the participation cost is a training manual, and
laptop with latest install of Intelligent Authoring. The teachers
of the training will have hands-on samples, and problem solving
exercises.
What is the benefit of attending the training and the user group?
The two events will be very different. The training will focus on
technical aspects of using the software and best practices, while the
User Group is focused on Regulatory issues. There will be no
hands-on product sessions at the User Group. There is a rebated
registration cost if you attend both events.
TRAINING Overview
DAY 1 - GHS DATA ENTRY MODEL
Note: Knowledge of the data entry model is a recommended pre-requisite.
The first day of training will teach users how to produce compliant GHS
safety documents using IA. Following the first day, you will know
how to:
Implement GHS using IA withIN your company.
Each participant will receive step-by-step
guidance as well as a Standardized Operational Procedure guide for
implementation within his or her company.
Identify Key GHS data and how to enter it in IA.
Atrion experts will guide participants
through the various screens and will identify for them the minimal data
required. Each participant will receive a Standardized Data Entry
Procedure guide for implementation within his or her company.
DAY 2 - REACH eSDS & DATA ENTRY MODEL
The second day of interactive and hands on-training will teach users how to:
Generate REACH EXTENDED SDS USING IA.
Identify and enter key for NA data into IA.
Atrion’s experts will guide
participants through the various screens of the product editor and will
identify for them the minimal data required. Each participant will
receive a detailed Standardized Data Entry Procedure they will be able
to use to within their company to improve the current Data Model or to
produce new safety documents.
